James Cameron Where Are You?

As many of you know James Cameron hasn't been in the director's chair since "TITANIC". He has been keeping busy as producer of several documentaries.Oh yes sorry, he did direct a couple of tv shows.None really worth mentioning.

He will be back big time with 3 new projects.

"Avatar"

In the future, Jake, a paraplegic war veteran, is brought to another planet, Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na'vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Those from Earth find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture.

Cameron's new offering, a hybrid of live action and animation shot in a new digital 3D format, will follow a group of humans battling aliens through remote-controlled bodies. A cast of unknowns will star in the $190m project, including Australian Sam Worthington in the lead role as 22-year-old planetary adventurer Jack Sully

"The Dive"

The true story of legendary free-divers and lovers, Francisco "Pipin" Ferreras and the late Audrey Mestre, who competed to travel as deeply as possible underwater on a single breath of air.

Cinematography by
Vince Pace

Battle Angel (2009)

Set in the 26th century, the story takes place 300 years after a societal collapse caused by a major war. In that society, it's a technological dark age following a pinnacle of achievement far beyond where we are right now. Cyborg technology is a way of life. People are augmented a lot as workers, so being a cyborg is not unusual. The main character is a cyborg. She has an organic human brain, and she looks like she's about fourteen years old. She has a completely artificial body and she's lost her memory. She is found in a wreckage and reconstituted by a cyber-surgeon who becomes her surrogate father.

I wouldn't call all of the Avatar cast unknown with Sigourney Weaver attached.

The film is over 60% CGI and will absolutely knock your socks off with its groundbreaking 3D technology.

It is being launched simultaneously with a Ubisoft crafted video game.

Thousands of theaters will be upgraded for the new 3D format for "Avatar" as well as Dreamworks Animation's "Monsters vs. Aliens" which had both had their sights on Memorial Day 2009. Dreamworks blinked first and is now opening a week earlier.

I cannot wait for Cameron's blockbuster. Read more on my blog: http://marketsaw.blogspot.com

Didn't Cameron have something to do with that "Tomb of Jesus" stuff a few months ago? He seriously needs another hobby.

You should do a post on the most classicy classic movie of all time - "Johnny Dangerously". A veritable classic of western cinema.
